During a 30 day trip through Europe our first country was Hungary. We picked to start here since plane tickets were the cheapest during our search. Even though Amsterdam where we switched planes it would have cost us more. With an AIRBNB apartment by the city center for $37 dollars we kickstarted our trip.
For clarification in case your confused on cost. Total (as in everything) for the 30days was just a little under 5000 for me and same for my friend. Out of this close to $900 for food and $900 for lodging for the 30days, again for each of us. Flight was just around $800 and the Eurorail train ticket around $500 for 15 day ride in a 30 day period.
So, per person $800 for flight + $500 for train ticket = $1300 Food=900 + Lodging=900 = $1800 this leaves us with $1900 which was spent on public transportation from local buses, local trains, admission tickets, airfare a few times that you can see later and rental car 2 other times plus souvenirs …
Next up is Munich and Cologne, Germany from where we also visited Luxembourg and Netherlands.
