Zaštitar blindiranog vozila Jim (D. Purcell) vrijedno radi kako bi zaradio za život, dovoljno da izdržava sebe i suprugu Rosie (E. Karpluk) koja se oporavlja od zamalo kobne bolesti. No sve krene nizbrdo kad osiguravajuće društvo prestane pokrivati troškove njezinog liječenja, a njegova cijela ušteđevina nestane zbog katastrofalnog ulaganja na koje ga je nagovorio njegov mešetar. Budući da mu se ruši poslovni i privatni svijet, Jim se suočava s činjenicom da ga financijske ustanove već duže vrijeme iskorištavaju i maltretiraju. Preostaje mu samo jedno: uzvratiti udarac!
