Panoramic shots of extensive damage to buildings, both residential and commercial, include the Cologne Cathedral, various castles and bridges. Shots of local civilians salvaging materials with carts. Filmed is a sign, „Death is so permanent, drive slowly” with a bombed building in the background. Contrasted to country home where a woman exits her home with a tray of food for the soldiers, and a dog with a Queen Anne collar.
