Canada, circa 1930. A huge rocky snow covered peak. A locomotive moves along the train tracks at the foot of the mountain. A locomotive pulls a train up a slope in the mountains. A train moves along a steep mountain side. Morraine Lake, Valley of the Ten Peaks? A rocky cliff. The debris the bottom of the cliff. A man by the side of a lake, the shore is barren of trees. Five men and one woman in front of a steaming locomotive, they stand on the front of the train. One of the men climbs to the very top of the train. The family walks out of the train station platform. Some young men laugh and talk in the train station. The mountain town, houses clustered together on a bluff below a large mountain. A long warehouse-like building , stretched out along the valley floor, Possibly the freight yard as smoke billows up from two ends of the tracks. Men in hats and one in a plaid jacket talk together. Three men discuss something in front of railway tracks. A rail car, with Great Northern…’ written on the side is lifted on end, four men watch as it moves down into a pit. The locomotive puffs as it moves onto the bridge. Passenger cars and two flat cars are moved along the train tracks by a locomotive. A railway locomotive moves along the tracks. A rail car ferry on the shore of the lake with two passenger cars on it, it moves away from the dock. An empty railway ferry moves back to the dock. The ferry moves across the lake. A banquet hall with three long rows of tables set for a fancy dinner with a British flag at the end of the hall, servants walk down the aisles towards us. A railway station in the mountains. People mill around on the platform. A group of men in front of the passenger train, some smoke. And elderly man and women sit on either side of a young woman. Two black porters in white uniform coats with conductors hats on stand on the train platform in front of the train. Men stand beside the train tracks. A very narrow lake ( Kootenay lake?). The train tracks go along the edge of the lake. The narrow lake again with mountains rising on the other side. The lake with tree covered points stretching out into it. The lake with telegraph poles and lines following the train tracks.
