Celestia and Luna- Sunrise, Sunset

Just a quick little PMV of the royal sisters growing up.

EDIT: Addressing points frequently brought up in the comments:

Celestia’s pink hair- I think her hair was pink when she was young based on the image in the pilot episode. If you disagree that’s fine. Until the show gives us a scene of her as a filly there’s no canon word on it.

Baby alicorns- According to Faust they were both born as alicorns. It’s possible the show canon could change that, but for now I’m good with her statement.
EXTRA EDIT: Yes, I know that „The Crystalling” has thrown a lot of headcanons for a loop. In the first place, I made this video well before „The Crystalling” aired, and I’m not changing anything now. In the second place, I’m in the „well technically they were born before Equestria so it’s still uncertain” camp.

Why no Nightmare Moon?- This is before Nightmare Moon. When the video ends they are still in the Castle of the Two Sisters.

I know that as of „Twilight’s Kingdom” it looks like the dark swirls on Luna’s flank aren’t actually part of her cutie mark, but I just thought the filly images looked better without them.
Um, scratch that. As of „Royal Problem” it looks like the dark swirls are part of the cutie mark.
