This week, the movie is from 1943, „Stormy Weather”, starring Lena Horne and Bill Robinson. It is one of the very few major studio releases during Golden Age of Hollywood, with an all-black cast as the studios at the time were incredibly racist towards black performers. Watch it for the magnetism and star power of Lena Horne, one of the most talented performers of the 20th century, and the Nicholas Brothers dancing to „Jumpin’ Jive”, possibly the best dance sequence ever filmed.
