The Conversation’s authors present their ideas on the online revolution facing higher education to Tertiary Education Minister Chris Evans at a Canberra symposium on 22 October 2012.
The 5 panelists were selected from 15 articles on a series of the same topic (https://theconversation.edu.au/pages/future-of-higher-education) themselves selected from over 120 submissions from a call-out to The Conversation’s 4000 authors.
The Minister said he was looking for answers on the key questions facing the sector. As you might expect, we found some, but uncovered even more questions.
Panelists are:
• Professor Jane den Hollander, VC Deakin University
• Professor Shirley Alexander, DVC UTS
• David Sadler, DVC UTAS
• David Lamond, Pro VC, Victoria University
• Paul Wappett, CEO Open Universities Australia
Donherra Walmsley, NUS President, participated as a respondent to the Minister and provided a student perspective.

Correction: David Lamond is incorrectly listed in the video as Deputy Vice Chancellor. It should read Pro Vice Chancellor.
