The state of Florida is having major issues when it comes to homeowners insurance policies being canceled, insurance companies going insolvent or even just flat out leaving the state because of high hurricane and flood risk as well as the rampant fraud causing companies to go under. The Florida state government has now had to intervene with basically an emergency order to prevent more insurance companies from losing their Demotech rating during the rest of this hurricane season.
