Mario (English dub) – Rare 1984 French-Canadian film by Jean Beaudin

Starring Xavier Norman Petermann, Francis Reddy, and Nathalie Chalifour, and inspired by the 1979 Claude Jasmin novel La Sablière. Digitized from a VHS tape with Vidbox. Mario is stated to be autistic in the French version, although the word isn’t used in the English dub.

„Gloria” by Laura Branigan is supposed to be playing during the party scene at 38:31; unfortunately, that song is copyrighted and had to be muted.
