Besides being a great place to visit, Hungary’s capital has long been a popular place for expats to settle for its cosmopolitan yet tranquil ambiance, overall attractiveness and relatively low cost-of-living for a European city with such charm.
In this video, my second from Budapest, I take a look at a few things that make the city livable, including its historic Great Market Hall, the wonderful City Park (among numerous of the city’s parks), and the Ruin Bar phenomenon in the city’s restored former Jewish Quarter.
