Mixed reaction to National Health Insurance

Many in the medical aid fraternity remain pessimistic about the feasibility of the proposed National Health Insurance. The NHI bill which was passed in parliament yesterday aims to provide universal public healthcare and narrow the inequality gap in health provision. But not everyone agrees. Profmed CEO, Craig Comrie says the newly passed bill will lead to a further exodus and brain drain of health professionals. #dstv403
