Narayana Health Insurance has introduced its first product, ‘ADITI,’ with IRDAI’s support, focusing on disease prevention and eliminating waiting periods. Dr Devi Shetty, Chairman, stated, „Health insurance can be best managed by healthcare providers.” The plan offers a 1 crore benefit with a 10,000 crore premium, targeting working-class families. The initiative aims to transform health insurance, emphasizing affordable surgeries and disease prevention incentives. Dr. Shetty added, „Currently, there is no incentive for preventing diseases; we need to offer incentives for prevention.” Narayana Health plans to collaborate with other major hospitalchainssoon.
