National Canadian Film Day was launched in 2014 and it quickly grew to become the world’s largest one-day festival. Every year, Canadians all over the world gather and watch great Canadian films and honour our film artists. On April 20 2022, 65,000+ of you came out – and another 2.5+ million stayed home – to watch a Canadian movie. It’s only possible thanks to all of our supporters, partners, participants, and hardworking staff. Here’s a brief recap of the festivities.
