While schools are currently out for the mid-year break, a number of parents in Cape Town are already stressed and worried about learner placements for next year.
The Western Cape Education Department says the online admissions system has already begun to automatically confirm placement for successful applications for Grades one and eight for the 2025 school year.
However, some parents are finding navigating the online system a major challenge.
Others who have applied timeously, say the system has already declined their applications.
