Sunak pledges to scrap National Insurance entirely

Yesterday they cut national insurance by another two pence. Today, the Prime Minister and his Chancellor want to scrap it altogether. How they would pay for it isn’t clear.

Labour says the pledge is „more reckless than Liz Truss”.
Meanwhile, after studying the Budget, the Institute for Fiscal Studies says most people will be worse off at the end of this parliament than at the start.
